We had intended to learn how to cook momos. What we received was a great deal more. Very warm, thorough and complete session for a great cause. Turned out we had mutual connections too! Fantastic experience - I’m looking out for your next endeavours. With my best wishes, I’ll be back. Thank you both. ♥️🙏✨

We had a lovely cooking class with Amrit and his wife. He picked us up from our hotel and showed us old Pokhara. After that we went to a beautiful old market to pick up all of the ingredients. We cooked Momo which was the best we had in Nepal! Really awesome experience! Amrit also has it’s own charity so all of the money is going to a good cause.

We had an amazing time at Love and Light Nepali Cooking. Not only did we learn a lot about Dal Bhat but also about Nepali culture and the great work of the Love and Light charity for children. I can’t wait to try the recipe at home and share this delicious Nepali food with friends and family 😍 Highly recommend if you are in Pokhara ☺️

Amazing Momo Class in Pokhara.. This cooking class was honestly one of the highlights of our trip to Pokhara! From start to finish, the whole experience was fun, relaxed, and super rewarding.

It was a very nice cooking class! Firstly we went to the local market to buy the ingredients. After that we got an interesting powerpoint about his charity, we really liked it. The cooking class was really nice and the momo's we made were tasty! During the day we could ask a lot of questions and we now know more about de Nepali culture and gastronomy.

We had a nice cooking class with Amrit where we learned to make momos. It was fun to learn the different folding techniques. Amrit is a very kind man who does a lot for orphan children with his good cause. Thank you Amrit!

Beautiful learning experience. We received a very warm welcome and presentation right from start. We learned to make momos from A to Z in a homelike kitchen (plus some bonus) and actively participated in the process of making momos. All of our questions were happily answered. Hope that Love and light Nepali cooking can help more children soon.. Thank you for the pleasant time Amrit 🙂

Amazing cooking class, with presentation about the charity and how is possible to change the world with helping others around us. Started on local market, we felt almost as locals, having a stroll in btw the locally sourced fruits and veggies. We did veggie Momo, 3 different styles folding a momo and later we learnt how to cook it. we learnt how to do chutney, too which was very pleasant surprise. Pick up and drop of was offered and much appreciated. Thank you so much for showing us beautiful Nepalese culture and it was real pleasure to have insight to your beautiful family.
